NOTES: IK FK switches on all limbs, enum based parenting to stick with the stick as the driver. Stick custom controls to grow and shrink keeping hands in place. Implemented as a playable character in UE4 as Ria in the game Grove. Applied Mocap to character as well. [Character was redesigned to better match the aesthetic of the game.]

NOTES: Rig completed in 5 days on a tight deadline for presentation in San Francisco at the Intel University Games Showcase. Custom systems in this rig include group feather movement controllers and individual feather control. IK FK switch controls, enum based parenting changes for hands and feet. 

CHARACTER: GRASSHAIR

HOURS: 55

DATE COMPLETED: February 2018

PROGRAMS USED: Maya, Unreal Engine 4

NOTES: Characters fully implemented into Unreal as part of the game Sun of the Children. Rig completed in 6 days. Tendrils on the back of the  character are using an IK ecosystem for usability. This character also has a custom feather system similar to the first character.
